Methodological aspects of the competitive strategy of food industry development
in Belarus on the basis of strengthening the national food competiveness and EuroAsian Economic Community formation
The article deals with some main theoretical and methodological bases of formation of the perspective model of food industry in connection with the necessity to strengthen the national food competitiveness within the EuroAsian Economic Community. A special emphasis is placed on the criteria, factors and indicators of food competitiveness. On the basis of the conducted research it’s possible to conclude that in order to retain and develop the food market the main strategy of a company should be the strategy of competition strengthening that is directed at maximization of added value.

The place of Belarus on the world food market: opportunities of the country and regional export diversification of agricultural products
The foreign trade of Belarus in agricultural products and food is analyzed in respect of product and geographic directions. The world leaders in production and export, and the place of the republic in the world rankings are identified. The basic approaches to export country-regional diversification of the Belarusian food are determined.

Methodological aspects of evaluation of structural cause-consequence factors of the stable development of economy оf agricultural enterprises
The article presents the development and substantiation of the methodology which allows explaining the mechanism of effects of structural changes on the basis of the description of the content of cause-consequence factors. Also due to this methodology it is possible to identify and measure the changes of structures using special indices and algorithm of their calculation. Shown is the substantiation of the method of evaluation of the influence of structures on the dynamics of economic results of agricultural enterprises.

Economic efficiency of application of complex fertilizers with modifying additives in the technology of oil flax growing
Under present conditions of financial and material resources deficit it’s important to improve the system of fertilizers application in order to reduce production costs and maximize the return of investment. The paper presents the results of the research on the influence of new forms and different doses of complex fertilizer with modifying additives on seeds yield and the efficiency of their application in the technology of growing oil flax of the varieties Solnechny and Brestsky on Luvisol sandy loam and loamy sand soils.

Leaf blight of carrot seed plants
The evaluation of leaf blight of carrot seed plants grown in a field and in greenhouses is presented in the article. It’s shown that the intensity of the symptoms of the disease on carrot seed plants depends on growing and weather conditions. Leaf blight develops more intensively in a field than in greenhouses. The development of the disease on carrot seed plants in a field reaches 81.3 %, in greenhouses – 26.9 %. The research shows that as a result of the disease the yield, germination energy and germination ability of seeds are reduced.

Peculiarities of fruiting of low bush blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium ait.) in the four year old planting in the north of Belarus
Non-simultaneous ripening of all studied genotypes, formation of the yield on mother plants and partial bushes, differences in the parameters of productivity, dates of the beginning and the end of ripening are the main peculiarities characterizing low bush blueberry(Vaccinium Angustifolium Ait.) fruiting in the four year old planting.
The average yield of 26 forms varies from 197 to 643 g per bush, the average weight of one berry – from 0.22 to 0.92 g. In comparison with three year old planting the average yield of 84.6 % of genotypes has increased by 1.1–5.6 times, and the average weight of berries has gone down by 1.1 – 2.3 times.
Productivity increase of the majority of forms witnesses about positive dynamics of bioproduction potential, but it can’t be achieved completely because of the decrease of the average weight of a berry that is connected with unfavorable weather conditions.

Monitoring and pharmacocorrection of polyhypomicroelementosis of catt tt le in Belarus
The data obtained during the experiments witness about a wide spread of polyhypomicroelementosis of catt tt le in Belarus. The research establishes a close relation of chemical elements when animals live in the environment. Haircoat appears to be an informative marker when diagnosing mineral deficiency of animals. The use of complex mineral-vitamin, chelated preparations is of great value as they minimize animal products losses owing to the restore of vital microelements in animals’ organisms.

Efficiency of the use of ultrasound of different intensities and exposure modes in the embryo transfer technology
The research shows that ultrasound with frequency of 0.88 MHz and intensity of 0.02–0.08 W/cm2 in a continuous
or pulsed mode for 1 minute doesn’t have a negative impact on catt tt le embryos. It is harmless and optimal, and influences the embryo material in order to speed up the repair process and vital functions.

Reproductive traits of landrace breed of sows under conditions of an industrial breeding farm
Reproductive traits of French Landrace breed of pigs were studied through a range of generations under conditions of a breeding farm. The forecast of breeding efficiency for a range of generations was made on the basis of the calculations of hereditability ratio (h2) and breeding differential. Special standards for young breeder selection were developed.

Influence of rearing drakes weight on reproduction of ducks
The article characterizes the efficiency and reproduction of the offsprings of drakes with different weight. The negative correlation of –0,3±0,12 of the weight of drakes at the age of 46 days and eggs fertility is underlined. The drakes whose weight at the age of 46 days is higher than the line average index should be used to complete pedigree pens of father lines.

Strategic direction in the development of dairy machine
On the basis of the analysis of tendencies in dairy production and new knowledge a conceptual approach to the design
of the equipment for dairy machine is suggested taking into account technical and physiological parameters. A new methodology to analyze energy consumption is also proposed.

Substantiation of apple blanching mode in the process of apple chips production
The optimal modes of apple blanching in the process of producing apple chips are defined in the article. Apples of winter and late winter varieties adopted to the territory of the Republic of Belarus were used. As a result of the research it’s established that apples should be processed with a solution containing 35 % of sucrose, 1 % of ascorbic acid, 1 % of citric acid. The analysis of the regression dependence shows that after being blanched at 75 ºC for 3-5 min apple samples get the highest organoleptic assessment. This fact is proven by the results of the research on the content of ascorbic acid, sugar, organic acid, pectin substances, flavonols and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural.

Wine and wine raw material quality evaluation on the basis of flavor forming compound profiles
GC/MS and solid phase microextraction methods were used for investigation of wine and wine raw material samples. To characterize food product quality it is proposed to use flavor forming compound profiles which are graphic display of relative content of each component. On the basis of component profiles it is possible to identify the presence and absence of flavor forming compounds that are typical of definite products.
